Great Canadian Basket Challenge - donations due Friday - link for more details
Dear St. Paul Families,
It is that time of year again, where we put on our dancing shoes and prepare for our largest fundraiser for St. Paul. This year the Dinner/Dance fundraiser is Saturday, February 11, 2023. Money raised will go towards playground enhancement, our Christmas Festive Lunch for all students, Year End Field Trips, and our school play.
The dance committee is challenging each class to donate a basket for the St. Paul Dinner Dance. With the upcoming holidays, there might be gifts you may want to “regift” or donate for your child(ren)’s class basket(s).
Each class, from K-8, has a theme with a list of suggested items that match their theme. This will create a class basket that will be a raffle prize at the dance.
The class with the most donations for their basket will win a pizza party.
Items can be brought to the school until the 13th of January. On the back side of this letter, you will see the theme that was selected for each class. Our St. Paul community always goes big, and we hope that this challenge will create a fun and rewarding task for your child.
In addition to the raffle basket donations, we would appreciate any big-ticket items for the raffle table (i.e. sports tickets, electronics, gift certificates). Please canvas your families, neighbours and businesses that you frequent to see if they can donate to our school.
Thank you in advance from the dance committee. We look forward to seeing old and new faces at this year’s dance.
Don’t forget to purchase your tickets for this year’s event on school cash online, starting this week.
Questions regarding this or anything dance related can be forwarded to Jaimi Vendetti ([email protected]) or Melissa Sousa ([email protected]).
Let’s go big St. Paul!
Sincerely,
2022 Dance Committee
